Pokemon’s official announcement confirms that the 30th Celebration expansion has arrived worldwide, marking 30 years of the trading card game. That gives English-language collectors a new anniversary collection to explore.
Start with a goal
Before choosing products, decide whether you want a favorite Pokemon, a binder collection, or the experience of opening packs. Those are different goals, and they do not have to use the same budget.
Check the exact product
The official product showcase distinguishes the Pokemon Center Elite Trainer Box from the standard version. It lists 11 booster packs in the Pokemon Center box, two more than the standard version. Compare each box’s complete contents before paying a premium.
Our collecting take
Make a checklist, keep a separate pile for duplicates, and set a spending limit before opening. If you are collecting variations, record the exact printing as well as the card number. An anniversary theme alone is not a reason to stretch your budget.
